Hotel Ichibata is located on the shores of Lake Shinji, in the Shinji-ko hot spring district. It is within walking distance of many of the tourist spots in Matsue, and is only a few minutes from Shinji-ko Onsen Station, from where you can catch the train to Izumo.
The hotel has Japanese and Western style rooms, a restaurant and a lounge, and a hot spring bath on the top floor from which you can gaze out across the lake and mountains in the distance.
