Established 120 years ago, Kasuien Minami is located in the centre of the Tamatsukuri Hot Spring district in Matsue.

The first floor has a large hot spring bath and a foot bath, and the ninth floor has a large outdoor bath from which you have stunning views of the town of Tamayu across to Lake Shinji.

The ryokan serves dishes made with fresh local ingredients, and has Western and Japanese style rooms.

Reservations can be made by telephone or online. Prices range from 15,000 yen to 20,000 yen per person per night.

Dishes are served in courses, and two meals are included in the price for each night’s stay. (Dishes can be changed to accomodate allergies and preferences. Please let us know when you make your reservation. )

Dishes take quite a while to prepare, so we recommend you check in at a reasonable time. (You can choose your meal time when you check in.)
